The innate qualities of watercolour make it a wonderful medium for landscape painting: its fluidity gives it a beautiful freshness and its translucency on white paper is perfect for expressing the ever changing light of nature on the subject.

Many of these images are scenes from the Clarence Valley area in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. Others are from visits to Italy, Central Australia, Norfolk Island, Sydney and Melbourne.
