Oil Painting workshop​​

Working from photos, you will complete at least two small paintings on canvas. I will demonstrate simplified processes and techniques to achieve realistic images of three dimensional objects and landscapes that create the illusion of distance. 

Suitable for both beginners and experienced artists.

Watercolour workshop

Light, Bright and Fresh are natural qualities of the translucent, flowing medium of watercolour painting. But sometimes our tones and colours can look muddy and overworked, washed out or too dark. 

In this one-day workshop on watercolour landscape painting, we will investigate the processes, techniques, colours and mindset which help make our paintings look cleaner, clearer and livelier. We will work to better express the vitality and beauty of this versatile medium. 

Suitable for all levels of experience. All materials supplied.

Attending the one day oil painting workshop mentioned above is not a requisite for this series of lessons. We will explore more techniques and methods for developing oil painting skills as well as depicting a wide variety of subjects such as glass, metal, coastal scenes, weather conditions etc.
